Before I release articles on weddings of close friends who’ve gotten/who will get married this year, let me share with you one of the most inspiring wedding I (we) have attended – Potty and Pao’s Wedding.
Potty (aka Christian Dela Cruz) and Pao (aka Paola Syyap) got hitched last January 16, 2015. I know this is a major throwback. But hey, I only started blogging last July 😛 .
Pao is actually my friend since college. We’re both from the same school, same course, and same hometown (sort of). Hence, it is a no wonder we meet even after work just for a few (ehem) drinks. It was a surprise when Pao asked me to be one of her bridesmaids. Of course, I said yes (I feel honoured).
The wedding has this “spring” vibe given their wedding details (the flowers, the color choices, the styling, etc.). The whole event was a far cry from your usual formal event given the personalities of the couple. It was heartwarming and simple with lots of funny instances with the couple (especially during in the latter part of the reception).
So on with the details…
The Wedding Preparations
On the actual day, preparations were made at Marriot Hotel located in Pasay City.
The ceremony was held at St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish in Makati City. For those who regularly pass by SLEX and Skyway, you will notice this church beside Asia Pacific College.
The Bride and The Groom
On one hand, the groom wore a 5-piece grey suit.
The splash of pastel colors that ranges from peach to mint green were worn by the bridesmaids and secondary sponsors. These gowns were created by Debbie Co.
Watch their SDE Video and you’ll know exactly how cool the couple is 🙂
